The Club Action Planning Scheme or CAPS is aligned to the Sport England Clubmark accreditation scheme which is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.

Clubs achieving this accreditation are recognised nationally as having a well run club which is ACTIVE and ACCESSIBLE. This means getting the best out of young people and giving everyone a sporting chance.

The CAPS scheme has 3 levels of accreditation; Bronze, Silver and Gold. Chester Netball Club currently holds the Silver award and are working toward achieving the Gold award.

The Silver award means that we have demonstrated that we (as a Club) safeguard and protect our Junior players, have a high standard of coaching and officiating, demonstrate equal opportunities and good management. We are able to demonstrate how we develop our volunteers, and have demonstrated our further commitment to providing a club environment with high quality coaching, leadership and volunteering opportunities.
